This rope guide is made from aluminum-zinc alloy and stainless steel parts. The benefit is a more durable rope guide where you'll get more usage before it needs replacing. Additionally, rope guides manufactured from aluminum-zinc alloy prevent the rope guide from wearing the drum, a common occurrence with cast iron rope guides.
